Introducing the Unified LinkedIn Inbox

Our previous Inbox only showed replies to your BotDog campaigns. That meant anything outside a campaign (past conversations, inbound messages, threads you started manually on LinkedIn) wasn’t visible.
The new Unified Inbox changes that. Every LinkedIn conversation you have is now accessible inside BotDog, including your full message history with each contact. And with lead profiles, campaign history, and notes sitting right next to each thread, you have the context you need without switching tabs.
Just keep in mind the initial import will take some time – so you won’t see all of your messages on day 1.
What’s included:
- All your conversations, not just campaign replies. Every thread across your connected LinkedIn accounts (including past messages and contacts outside your campaigns) sorted by recent activity, with unread counts and a dedicated Unread tab.
- Rich messaging. Send text, images, videos, files, voice notes, GIFs, and emojis. If you spot a typo right after sending, you can edit within LinkedIn’s edit window.
- Schedule messages and set reminders. Write a reply now and send it later, or set a reminder on a thread so it comes back up when you’re ready to follow up.
- Context alongside the thread. See a lead’s profile, campaign history, and notes without leaving the conversation — and add them to a campaign directly from the Inbox.
- Start new conversations. Search your connections to open a new 1:1 or multi-person chat.
- Filters that stick. Filter by unread, campaign, tag, or reply status — your filter set stays in place as you work through threads.
- Live updates. New messages, edits, and read receipts come through in real time. Desktop and push notifications are on by default; you can adjust which events trigger them in Settings.
- Clear connection status. If a LinkedIn account disconnects, the Inbox flags it inline with a one-click reconnect — no guessing why a thread has gone quiet.
The Inbox is marked BETA in the sidebar while we keep iterating. And feedback is very welcome!
A note on availability: rich media (images, video, voice notes) and scheduled messages are part of the Complex Sequences capability and depend on your plan. Reading and replying with text is available to everyone with a connected LinkedIn account.
