Log in with Botdog before you have a team

We fixed an issue that could block you from authorizing another app with your Botdog account.

Previously, if you had just created your account and had not joined or created a team yet, the authorization screen could show You are not a member of any team and leave the button disabled.

This meant you could not continue, even when the app only needed to confirm your identity.

What changed

If an app only needs to identify you, Botdog no longer asks you to choose a team.

You can authorize the app and continue straight away.

If an app needs access to your Botdog data, such as when connecting an AI assistant, you will still need to choose which team it should connect to. A team is still required in that case.

Existing app connections are unchanged.

An app that is authorized only to identify you still cannot access any team data.
