Manage Your Subscription, Payment, and Invoices Directly Inside BotDog

Almost everything that used to send you out to an external portal (picking a plan, updating your card, downloading an invoice, changing your billing cycle) now lives inside Settings → Billing. Same Stripe security, no extra tab, no separate login.

Here’s what’s changed:

Checkout

• Choosing or changing a plan now opens an inline checkout inside BotDog. You’ll see a full breakdown of seats, cycle, taxes, and discounts before you confirm – all without leaving the app.
• Each checkout step has its own URL now, so refreshing the page no longer sends you back to the beginning.
• A coupon code field lets you apply promo codes during checkout, with the discount reflected live in the order summary.
• Teams with 10 or more seats automatically get 10% off. No code needed. It adjusts automatically if your seat count changes.

Payment methods

• Your saved cards now appear on the payment page, so you can choose, add, or remove a card without going anywhere else.
• Updating your card on file is now a dedicated page at Settings → Billing → Update payment method.

Invoices and billing details

• An Invoices section lists every invoice with a one-click PDF download.
• You can now update your billing details (company name, address, tax ID) directly in BotDog, and they’ll show up on your next invoice automatically.
• Canadian customers: GST, HST, and PST are now calculated based on your billing address.

Plan changes and cancellations

• Changing your plan now shows a clear preview of the new total, including proration and what your next bill will look like, before you confirm.
• Downgrades and seat reductions now take effect at the end of your billing period instead of immediately. A banner on the billing page tells you exactly what’s changing and when.
• If you cancel, there’s a short optional feedback step and once cancellation is scheduled a “Changed your mind?” option stays visible until the final subscription period ends, so you can resume in one click.

Your existing subscription, plan, and renewal date are all unchanged. You just have a much better place to manage everything from now on.
